Osaka, Japan's second big city, holds all the excitement of Tokyo with a
little more tradition than the southern mecca of Japan. First impression would
show that there is very little of a differance when it comes to the inner city
areas. Except for the minor change in dialect you would have to actually
venture away from the city.
Only an hour away the most beautfil city in Japan, Kyoto, shows the more
traditional side of Japan. With great shopping strips, parades, temples, food,
and Geisha girls, Kyoto holds the breathe a bit with the beauty it shares with
its visitors.
Another 30 minute drive away brings you to the heart of Nara. Holding
nothing but beautiful artifacts and temples it reminds you more of a small
village than a city. Wild deer and animals come up freely to feed from the
hand of the many visiters that frequent this area. It is one of the best
places to visit in Japan and by far the most beautiful and heart touching.
