Earth 2036

The Beast, a shadowy form of rotting flesh and earths waste held together by the pure energy of evil.

It rises from its hole and speaks to its zombie hordes. "My undead... feast on this world!"

And feast they did.  They hunted the living and removed their hearts just as they had with the scientists. 

Military or civilian, no living human was safe or spared.

After years of destruction and chaos those that were able to hide and evade the undead armies gathered together.  Scientists and citizens created resistance cells and set up new labs in decimated underground bunkers.

They gathered what resources and manpower they had available and toiled side by side to find a solution

to the Zombie threat. They formed Zombie Patrols to hunt down Zombies and protect the living.

They turned to what resources they had to protect themselves. 

They set forth to build a machine, a weapon to stop the Beast and its carnage on the planet.

It took years of round the clock vigilance and tiring labor.  Hundreds of lives were lost to the

extreme living conditions and relentless attacks from the ever-growing undead army. 

Deep in the bunkers of the lab...

...in the end it paid off. In the end they created "The Protector."

2040

In a fiery blaze The Protector was launched and it slammed into the concentrated

black heart of the ZOMBIE continent once known once as America.

It rose from the fire with a cold stare from it's hollow eyes. 

And just as the Zombies had feasted on man, so did The Protector reap a similar fate to the undead.

Fire blasted from its limbs and incinerated Zombies instantly and its reinforced armor shell

easily crushed the Zombie bones into dust.

But there were much larger problems to face…

A deep voice boomed from the sky...

"Ahhh... A trinket from man.” It said

“Come now for what you want.

Embrace your fate."

The Protector flew into the face of evil. 

A recording broke the heavy hush over the dark. 

A message, rattling through a small speaker in the robots hood. 

"From all of humanity..." it said and abruptly clicked off.

The Protector was a success.  A cleaver weapon, after numerous studies on ZOMBIE remains they discovered they could use the Beasts own energy against it.

The Protector was equipped with a regenerative time collapsing cascade field.  When the device is activated it creates a bubble that opens a rift in space and time that uses its targets own energies to build a force strong enough to push it into oblivion. The more the Beast struggled, the faster he was dragged in. 

But to where and when the Beast was dragged no one could tell...
