In a somewhat spontaneous act MOVEMENT caught a lift with some of our nerdiest Rebel pals to the epic STAR WARS CELEBRATION V convention in Orlando, FL. The con is normally on the West coast or has even been as far away as Japan. This year being so close it would have been a sin against our childhood to have missed it especially since the main event was Daily Show host John Stewart interviewing George Lucas! Our Rebel transport arrived at 5am Saturday morning Aug 14th 2010 to the convention center to line up for a chance at a coveted wrist band into the limited seating theater for the live interview. By the power of the Force we were lucky enough to have gotten in and seen it first hand for ourselves, including George giving John his own custom made action figure and being treated to a never-before-seen clip from Return of the Jedi (see the video below) which will be released on Blu-Ray DVD. After which we roamed the con floor filled with booths from corporate giants LEGO, Darkhorse Comics, Hasbro and more, along with life size props, scene settings, art, endless swag, tattoo booths and the ultra packed star signing area.
