S.R.i. (formerly known as project z), is a project of Robert J. Pollum. Robert has been playing in local Industrial bands since about 95.' He has filled the position of guitarist / backup vocalist / co-songwriter for Broken Machine and Glitch and most recently Jacksonville's Merry Widow. During this time he has found the time to write and produce three Project Z / S.R.i. albums and also appear on several compilations. Robert has lent his distinct voice & flavor to other projects as well including but not limited to: Statik Fuzz Unit, Unwished, and thrall. Being a fan of Industrial music yet also other sample based and electronic music styles Robert has created a unique sound featuring dark moods, twisted soundscapes and a lack of traditional song structure and has blended these elements seamlessly with a darkly funky urban flavor creating S.R.i.  Robert spent the greater part of 2002/2003 as lead guitarist for Merry Widow playing no less than 12 shows including a 911 disaster relief show. Robert split with Merry Widow to pursue S.R.I. and is ready to bring his distinct sound to the masses... watch out!
