BLOOD DRUGS premiere “Diamonds” from debut LP via New Noise Magazine

Thomas Bellflower April 3, 2015
Seattle’s own BLOOD DRUGS have premiered the first track Diamonds from their upcoming scorcher of a self-titled debut today via New Noise Magazine.

Produced by the one and only Matt Bayles, (Sandrider, Russian Circles, KEN Mode, Minus The Bear) and mastered by Ed Brooks at RFI this past summer, this quartet is primed to leave a mark in 2015. Picking up where founding member and guitarist formerly of the gone-but-not-forgotten Emerald City barnburners Absolute Monarchs left off, BLOOD DRUGS sound is as volatile and spastic as it is brooding and dark.

BLOOD DRUGS have scheduled an upcoming live in-studio performance on KEXP’s Audioasis Saturday April 11th at 6:30pm, and will be celebrating the release of their debut album April 24th at the newly re-opened and remodeled Chop Suey in Seattle. Stay tuned for news of an upcoming tour of the West Coast.
