DJANGO DJANGO TO TOUR U.S. THIS SUMMER IN SUPPORT OF BORN UNDER SATURN

Django Django present the official video for Shake & Tremble,” the new single off the band’s sophomore album, Born Under Saturn. Described by NPR’s All Songs Considered, “Shake & Tremble” “marries a Devo-esque bass line with unflappable surf rock guitar.” It was written on a volcanic island where the band was collaborating with visual artist Haroon Mirza, and in turn, references human sacrifice and volcanic activity. Directed by former London nanny and VHS video auteur Peter Dee, the video captures the band perfoming amongst a fleet of animatronic insects inside a lo-fi Romancing the Stone styled jungle backdrop. Nods to human sacrifice and volcanic activity abound. Check out the video premiere on Entertainment Weekly.

Django Django will finally return to the states this summer with appearances in New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago for Lollapalooza, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Santa Ana and San Francisco for Outside Lands. All dates are below. Born Under Saturn, the follow-up to their Mercury Prize-nominated, self-titled debut, is out now on Ribbon Music. Additionally, the “Shake & Tremble” single is currently featured “FREE on iTunes.”
