HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW RELEASE FINAL ALBUM
RESOLUTION OUT JULY 24
Drive-Thru Records will release HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW’S Resolution on July 24, 2007. Sadly, this is the final release from this beloved New Jersey based band.
Recorded with Producer Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music, Senses Fail), Resolution proves HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW learned much from their six years together. The album kicks off in grand HIPV style with “Bendy” possibly the best song ever recorded by HIPV, catchy and charming as hell. The rest of the album charges with big rock numbers, like “Heavy Breathing” and “Like An Ocean” and slower paced but powerful songs like “The Lake House.” Touted as one of the “greatest bands to emerge from the North Jersey music scene,” HIPV couldn't have ended on a higher note than with Resolution.
HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW released Life In Dreaming in 2005 and a self-titled EP in 2003. HIPV has a combined sales history of more than 86K records sold.
The band announced its split in January of this year citing professional and creative differences.
HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW is Joe Reo (lead vocals), Rob Freeman (guitar, vocals), Spencer Peterson (drums), Chris Amato (bass), and Mike Saffert (guitar).
Created and led by brother and sister team Richard Reines and Stefanie Reines, Drive-Thru Records has been at the forefront of discovering unique musical talent since 1996. Originally signing artists such as Dashboard Confessional, New Found Glory, Something Corporate, Senses Fail, Finch and The Starting Line, their current roster includes, The Early November, Hellogoodbye, Steel Train, I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody’s Business, Allister, Hidden In Plain View, Halifax, I Am The Avalanche, An Angle, Socratic, Dave Melillo and House Of Fools. Since its inception, Drive-Thru Records has soundscanned over 7 million records. In December of 2004, the Reineses launched a sister label to Drive-Thru called Rushmore Records. The Rushmore Records’ roster includes Houston Calls and Self Against City.

AUGUST BURNS RED – MESSENGERS NEW RECORD IN STORES TODAY - EXCLUSIVE STREAM ON DECOYMUSIC.com STARTING TODAY!!!
Messengers, the second record to drop from the minds and hands of Lancaster, PA quintet August Burns Red is more than just a collection of 11 raging metal songs that ravage the ears of their listeners with technical skill and immense passion. The record is, in fact, not only a musical collaboration, but also a lyrical one, where every member of the band contributed to the lyrical content with their own thoughts, ideas and messages. Hence the record’s intriguing title.
“We all contributed to the lyrics on this one whereas on Thrill Seeker our singer did all the writing,” Brubaker explains. “We all offered different ideas. Each of us wrote a set of lyrics and we’d pick a song we thought they’d fit with. It was a collaboration rather than one person.”
August Burns Red, who initially formed in March of 2003, began this writing process almost immediately after finishing their shattering debut, Thrill Seeker, at the end of 2005, collecting ideas to follow up that disc with something even bigger. The five members of August Burns Red spent almost the entire year and half they were touring in support of Thrill Seeker penning the songs that landed on Messengers, eventually entering the studio in February 2007 in Nashville with Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Himsa, Dark Tranquility, Extol), with whom the fivesome co-produced the album. The group spent the month refining the tracks into the aggressive, pounding songs you hear on the finished album.
“I think we wanted to continue with what our style is- stay in our niche- but expand upon it,” Brubaker says of the album. “It’s two years after our last record so we’re obviously going to be better at our instruments and more mature as songwriters. So to me it’s a natural progression from our album before.”
The album ranges from the heavily throbbing, double-bass-driven “Composure” to the crushing “An American Dream,” a song that drags the listener along by Luhrs’ callous screams and the band’s penchant for driving, metallic guitar riffs and intricate drumwork. The complexity of August Burns Red’s songwriting is apparent throughout, a clear indication of a band with rabid ambition and a burgeoning talent for crafting tight, compelling songs. Longtime fans fear not, though; Messengers is still the product of the same intense band who continue to blow the minds of everyone lucky enough to witness their memorable live show.
“I think it sounds like us,” Brubaker notes of Messengers. “But it’s more mature and musicianship-wise it’s way better. It’s much more technical. I think it really shows how far we’ve come.”
AUGUST BURNS RED and DecoyMusic.com proudly announce that MESSENGERS, the band’s JUNE 19th Solid State Records release will be exclusively streamed on the website, starting today and wrapping up on June 21st at 11:59pm CST. The Lancaster, Pennsylvania based hardcore act will be bringing their crushing sound across the states all summer long. AUGUST BURNS RED have toured along the likes of As I Lay Dying, Terror, Chiodos, Between the Buried and Me, Bleeding Through, Haste The Day amongst many more.

RELEASED DIGITALLY WHILE RADIO RAVES ABOUT SUMMER SINGLE
“Electropop” Produced by Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Video Directed by Paul “Coy” Allen
“Electropop,” the debut single from the Los Angeles based band Jupiter Rising was digitally released today and is now available on iTunes and all digital service providers. The single has also shipped to radio and garnered a number of more than positive responses and the same titled CD is set for release on September 11, 2007.
“The song has just moved to power rotation and has taken on a life of its’ own. This has had the most reaction of any record this year.” Kris Henderson, WMPH 91.7 FM Radio
“Jupiter Rising has the absolute summer smash on iParty Radio for 2007 with ‘Electropop.’ Instant reaction from day one with emails and AIM requests as well as people trying to find out how they can purchase their own copy. This one is hot like fire and perfect for hot summer nights. You can't afford to wait on this one any longer.” Will Calder at iParty Radio.com
Jupiter Rising is comprised of two unique individuals, Jupiter Rising founder and beatbox tycoon Spencer Nezey and the unique voice of Jessie Payo, whose hybrid sound completes the duo. “Electropop,” the title cut and first single from the CD was produced by “J.R.” Rotem (who recently produced Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girls” and Rihanna’s hit single “S.O.S.”) will hit the airwaves on June 5th. Additionally, video director Paul “Coy”Allen (whose most recent video, “Give It To Me” for Timbaland was a world-wide smash) has shot a video for the single.

ZO2’s “AINT IT BEAUIFUL” SCHEDULED FOR
RIKER HILL RECORDS’ DEBUT AUGUST 7th
New York City hard rock trio, ZO2 is set to release their Riker Hill
Records’ debut, AINT IT BEAUTIFUL on 08.07.07. Following an
incredibly successful 40 city tour with KISS and Poison, which led to
standing ovations every night and sold out merchandise stands for the
Brooklyn born band, Paulie Z, David Z and Joey Cassata are out on the
road preparing for the release of their highly anticipated second cd
in August. Often compared to a cross between Led Zeppelin and
Aerosmith and Audioslave and Stone Temple Pilots, it is the
incredible stage presence that most strikes fans and critics alike.
Rave reviews about the live show and the recorded music abound.
With tracks like, “She Believes,” “If You See Kay,” and “Isolate”
highlighting this eleven song disc, ZO2 is poised to continue to win
over crowds and listeners with their melodic old school rock and
roll. Melding the funk and swagger of the 70s with modern
arrangements, harmonies and lyrics, ZO2 is single-handedly infusing
the rock world with the energy and excitement it has so long been
missing.
Featuring brothers Paulie Z (vocals, guitar) and David Z (vocals,
bass guitar) and Joey Cassata (drums, vocals), the members’
individual musical achievements are noteworthy: David as the bassist
for the enormously successful Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Joey in the
highly successful and critically acclaimed Blue Man Group and Paulie
as a featured vocalist on many of Howard Stern’s infamous song
parodies and also as the creator of NYC’s popular ZO2’s Rock Asylum
at rock staple, Arlene’s Grocery, featuring local and national rock
artists each month proving that rock n’ roll is alive and prospering
and the rock community is still thriving, hungry and begging for more.
“Aint It Beautiful” will be the first release for ZO2’s new label,
New York City based Riker Hill Records, distributed by IDN, an
aggressive independent where passion and experience meet the future
of rock and roll.
ZO2’s powerful live show has been lauded in reviews worldwide. The
band can be seen stateside supporting “Aint It Beautiful” at the
venues listed below. Additional tour dates are added frequently and
are available at MySpace/ZO2 or
www.ZO2.com.
WHAT THE CRITICS ARE SAYING ABOUT ZO2:
“It’s easy to understand why Paul Stanley and just about everyone
else who’s checked out the group’s work ends up reacting excitedly to
the brand of music ZO2 makes and it’s about to pay off for this go
for broke power trio.”
-- Hit Parader
“This trio of musicians has all of the elements of a super group in
the making. The songs have swagger and substance not seen in much of
the music you hear today. There are no flaws and no BS in this
band.” -- Informer Magazine
“If you think for a second that hard hitting cutting edge rock and
roll is dead, then you haven’t heard ZO2! “Aint It Beautiful” is
just what the Doctor ordered, delivering track after track of
masterfully crafted rock perfection in a way only ZO2 could provide!”
-- The Inside Connection
“The band has captured a timeless sound with energy and groove.
Comparisons to everyone from Aerosmith to Grand Funk Railroad and Led
Zeppelin are inevitable.” -- Transcending the Machine
“ZO2”s high octane rock reminds us of the sounds of Van Halen . . .
and yes, some Def Leppard, too.” -- Time Out New York
“Solid rock record with memorable hooks and catchy songs, the sound
is universal rock and roll with classic old school sound blended with
modern rock punch.” -- Crave Magazine
“Great rockin’ times and a singer who knows how to use his voice for
more than just punching good guitar licks . . . his voice is all
melody and he uses it to create the hooks in the songs rather than
let the instrumentation do so.” -- Edge
“Standing ovations as an opening band and a personal invitation from
KISS prove that ZO2 has the goods to back up its confident and
colossal sound.” -- Journal Review (Indiana).
“This rock trio performs at the level of arena caliber musicians and
manages to build a wall of sound . . . the band owned the stage from
the first note.” --Good Times
“Their level of experience and stage presence really shown through
during the course of their set. ZO2 exhibited a confidence musically
and onstage rarely seen from the local bands, perhaps partly due to
the exposure of performing in larger arenas.” -- Aural Fix

Duck Down Records Preps New Projects For 2007
Buoyed by their ingenious “Tripe Threat” campaign in 2005 (Buckshot & 9th Wonder’s Chemistry, Sean Price’s Monkey Barz and Smif N Wesson’s Reloaded) Duck Down Records re-established itself as one of Hiphop’s premier Independent labels. The buzz for the label and its artists only heightened in 2006 with the release of the reunited Boot Camp Click LP, The Last Stand, and Sean Price’s massive sophomore solo-LP, Jesus Price Superstar, which firmly re-established the Boot Camp Click as one of Hiphop’s most talented collectives ever assembled and Sean Price as one of Hiphop’s most engaging lyricists.
Since the release of Sean Price’s Jesus Price Superstar, Duck Down has undergone a distribution change which promises to further solidify its position, as Duck Down Records is now back under the powerhouse Koch Records umbrella. In addition, the Duck Down website (www.duckdown.com) has been completely revamped with a brand new look and features and now includes a Duck Down shop for its legion of devoted fans worldwide.
Over the next few months, Duck Down will be releasing a host of new projects; including Sean Price’s “Master P” mixtape, Steele’s (of Smif N Wesson) “Hotstyle Takeover” mixtape and Boot Camp Clik’s “Casualties Of War” which will be released on 8-14-2007 (Casualties Of War is not the latest “official” Boot Camp Clik LP, but a collection of tracks recorded for The Last Stand and various solo-projects from Boot Camp Click members solo-projects that were not previously released). While Heltah Skeltah continue to work on their forthcoming LP and even as rumors swirl about Sean Price being courted by major labels, Sean will begin working on his next solo-LP, Mic Tyson, the projects slated to arrive in the fall of 2007 are LP’s from Smif N Wesson, a still untitled collaborative LP from Sean Price, Black Milk and Guilty Simpson (which all three members are currently in Detroit finishing) and the highly-anticipated Buckshot and 9th Wonder sequel The Formula (their official follow-up of Chemistry).
While the Duck Down name, its history and artists are widely renowned and branded throughout the Hip-Hop landscape, thelabel is branching out to begin to distribute and promote artists from those outside the typical Boot Camp Click artist structure and negotiations are already under way with a few up-and coming artists and iconic rap legends; this change signifies a major transition in the label, as it becomes a home to develop and market artists of all flavors. The first such project of this transition will be Special Teamz (EDO. G’s collective group, which consists of EDO. G, Slaine and Jaysuan) debut “Stereotypez,” which is currently slated for a 9-25-07 release date and will include production from DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Marco Polo, Jake One and Ill Bill and guest appearances from Sean Price, Buckshot, Devin The Dude, Ill Bill and Jamie Jasta of Hatebreed among others.

WILEY GETS SERIOUS WITH 'PLAYTIME IS OVER', OUT THIS FALL ON BIG DADA RECORDINGS!
Wiley, the pioneer, the founding father, the maverick, the relentless innovator, releases his brand new (and possibly last) album this September on Big Dada Recordings. A blazing return to the experimental crucible of the East London music known as grime, "Playtime Is Over" offers everything that is most brutal, cutting edge, funny, clever, terrifying and moving about the sound and the world which created it.
Over the course of 15 tracks, Wiley boasts of his pre-eminence, tells stories of his life and background, reveals a sensitive side that won't surprise anyone who has met him, bigs up Bow and, in general, splatters his life and thoughts and feelings over beats in a way which hasn't been bettered in the short but incident-packed history of a scene whose mainstream acceptance is barely five years old.
The majority of the music on "Playtime Is Over" is produced by the man himself, with occasional assistance from the likes of JME ("No Qualms") and Maniac (the aural assault of "Bow E3.") The handful of guest MCs and vocalists on the album were equally carefully selected; one-time rival and rising star Scorcher lends his musical flow to 'Fly Boy,' Jukie Mundo's ultra-tight delivery rails over 'Stars' and the dulcet tones of Rachel provides the chorus to 'Come Lay With Me.'
Rather than the 'pop' experiments that were forced on Wiley while producing Roll Deep's "In At The Deep End," here he revels in his ability to weld together screeching keyboards, elastic bass drops and pounding beats into instantly catchy, hugely more-ish bursts of noise. Right from the opening bars of "50/50" you know you're in for a treat and it doesn't let up through his tales of trouble in South West London ("Slippin'"), jokes about the Grime scene's internal rivalries ("Getalong Gang"), or his exhortations for the scene around him to realise it's time to get serious ("Playtime's Over"). In between, Wiley also shows himself the master of a different type of approach, on a heartfelt and funny dedication to his newborn daughter ("Baby Girl") or when reaching out to his sometime prodigy and fellow Bow boy, Dizzee Rascal ("Letter 2 Dizzee").
Wiley aka Eski-Boy aka Igloo-Boy is the true founding father of grime. He pioneered the music as a member of Pay As U Go Cartel, then with his crew Roll Deep Entourage and as a white label star, through which he refined the ice cold sound of eski-beat. His first album, "Treddin' On Thin Ice" was released by XL and he produced and masterminded most of Roll Deep's album "In At The Deep End" (Relentless). Since leaving XL he has inspired the grime world through his "Tunnel Vision" mixtapes which sell in their tens of thousands and last year he self-released his own album "2nd Phaze". This album sold astounding figures without any proper distribution and "Playtime Is Over" contains three tracks from it that deserved to reach a still wider audience. Wiley is a true maverick who has recently announced that he will retire from MCing after the release of "Playtime Is Over" and the grime world would be an infinitely poorer place without the many stories and legends the man has inspired.
Wiley joins the Big Dada family right as the label reaches its 10th anniversary milestone. Which is fitting, given that Big Dada's been putting out the some of the most futuristic hip hop shit you've ever heard. Perhaps the following names ring a bell: Roots Manuva. Spank Rock. Mike Ladd. King Geedorah. The Majesticons / Infesticons. TTC. Ty. Diplo. All have given us insight into that parallel universe where the future runs concurrently with the present to shape the sound of things to come. Big Dada is arguably the only UK hip hop label with a firm commitment to promoting innovative artists from the UK hip hop underground internationally, while supporting forward-thinking hip hop artists from other geographic centers. Big Dada will celebrate its incredible music catalogue over the last decade with a CD / DVD retrospective and tour dates this Fall.

“At the apex of the night, with 5000 people screaming at the top of their lungs, Bunny was unleashed...a mirror
clad screaming human disco ball slithered down a rope from the rafters 2 stories above the dance floor. Every
light in the club was focused on him. The colors refracted off his mirrored hanging body. A mass of hands below
reached towards the light. When Bunny touched the hands of the crowd he hung upside down as they swung him
like a pendulum over their heads. As he was lowered to the crowd they did not let him touch the ground. They
carried him to the stage, as if he was their sacrifice. The crowd was clearly in a frenzied state of mind”. – A Fan
Rabbit In The Moon is an intense electronic act that combines all dance genres with an unforgettable live stage
performance. 10 years in the making, the aptly named ‘Decade’ is their first full-length project that is a CD/DVD
combo that features previously unreleased tracks, re-mastered songs and mind tripping music videos. Due out
August 28th from Contagious Musiq, each song is an expression of visual music performed like an electronic
circus with abstract narratives and dynamic presentation. The music incased in this project will bring back feel
good memories of the classic dynamic that is R.I.T.M. –they are responsible for one of the most influential songs
of our time, Out Of BodyExperience (O.B.E.). This project also presents the future of the Rabbit sound, one which
will be heard on dance floors across the globe. Tinged with eclectic tech inspired moments and filled with a
rock-fused sound that is the signature of Rabbit In The Moon.
“Our cover of David Bowie's "Let's Dance" is the first single off the new album. We basically made a protest song
out of one of my favorite pop songs of the 80's. It already says what we wanted to say, we just had to add our own
tone to it. "Put on your red shoes and dance the blues" its a metaphor for fighting, and fight we do.’ states Bunny,
the mythical front man, ‘The music video for this electro clash meets industrial anthem is a full on bloody riot.
It was filmed on location in the Czech Republic at the World Trade Organization protest rally. It is hand held
footage of 5000 protesters taking back the streets, and fighting the evil empire is the theme, mixed with live
performance footage in front of 20,000 screaming kids at Miami's Ultra Music Festival. "We can, we will, survive!"
is the mantra.”
Being an independently produced band supported by the love of their fans, they have made a conscience decision to
put on a show that really performs music through unique costuming and dance. They have fought to have their music
presented in this way and it has earned them a great deal of respect. Rabbit in the Moon has been called "The Grateful
Dead" or "Pink Floyd" of electronic music, while their fans are referred to as "rabbitheads", going as far to have
gotten tattoos of the bands logo.
The combination of innovative technology and music birthed the world’s first full body video suit. R.I.T.M. has taken
cutting edge technology and created a break through in visual music performance. Bunny has designed an incredible
custom leather suit to house the LED lights and painstakingly constructed a piece of wearable art, which took over five
years to create. VJ Tek plays custom video content that is mapped to Bunny’s suit while he performs against a video
backdrop. In essence, this is an audio visualization of the music composed by David Christophere and Bunny that plays
in real time. “These shows are live sonic research that we have been doing for 10 years”, stresses VJ Tek.
“We have been honored to play in such locations as a rain forest in New Zealand, a 10th Century castle in Spain,
and at Ricon beach in Puerto Rico” says VJ Tek in his studio who also refers to the performance as “visual poetry”.
All of this experience and dedication to create has made R.I.T.M. pioneers. Most people's first exposure to Rabbit was
to their song called ‘Out-Of-Body Experience’ ‘O.B.E.’. ‘O.B.E.’ was released in ‘93, and to this day, is still played
in clubs around the world. In 2003, Muzik Magazine listed ‘O.B.E.’ as the number one most sought after record in the
last decade. After the release of ‘phases of an out of body experience’ (the remixes of O.B.E.), on Hardkiss Recordings
in '94, the demand for R.I.T.M. became enormous. They began collaborating and doing remix work for everyone including:
Goldie, Sarah McLachlan, Garbage, Smashing Pumpkins, Sven Vath, Stone Roses, Eric Clapton, and Tori Amos.
Their style of electronic music is favored by so many for being timeless, with their success spawning from a band that has
not graced the screens of music television.
Rabbit in the Moon's live shows have exploded into full-blown productions. Including the use of live instruments by David
Christophere and guest artists, vocals and costume performances by Bunny, interactive video by VJ TEK, fire performance
by Jila, and custom pyrotechnics. The new CD/DVD release “Decade” will also air in full high definition on HD network
but, to truly understand you must experience it for yourself.
