Dragon Con 2022 was a HUGE hit once more!
Dragon Con is an annual multi-genre fan convention held in Atlanta, Georgia. It is one of the largest and most well-known conventions of its kind in the United States drawing over 80,000 attendees to Downtown and the Atlanta area. The event typically takes place over Labor Day weekend, spanning four days from Friday to Monday.
Dragon Con is a celebration of science fiction, fantasy, gaming, comics, and other aspects of pop culture. It attracts fans from various fandoms and interests, including enthusiasts of movies, TV shows, video games, literature, and more. Attendees often dress up as their favorite characters, a practice known as cosplay, adding a vibrant and colorful atmosphere to the convention.
The convention is hosted across multiple hotels located in downtown Atlanta, and each hotel hosts different tracks and panels related to specific genres or interests. The main venues include the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Marriott Marquis, Hilton Atlanta, Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, Westin Peachtree Plaza, and the AmericasMart.
