Genre-bending artist Afika Nx is clearly on a roll, as he continues to please his ever-growing fan base with delightfully catchy, yet powerfully poignant new songs.
For his latest effort, “New Year’s Revolution,” Afika seamlessly blends Reggae and Hip-Hop, making for an ultra satisfying, almost hypnotic three and a half minutes. The track premiers today exclusively via Afropunk.
Afika NX generated notable buzz for his last single, “Rat Tat Tat,” which showcases his rhythmic vocals and his impressive ability to layer sounds, defy genres and pen thought-provoking lyrics.
